Nenad Krstic stepping up in Jefferson’s absence

Blogged under Steppin Up, Front Page by Nothing but Net on Thursday 16 November 2006 at 2:31 pm

After Richard Jefferson hurt himself, Nenad Krstic has stepped up his scoring.  Krstic has averaged 16.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists this season.  Krstic is a good shooter and that causes match-up problems for other teams.  Krstic has nailed 58.4% of his shots from the floor, and he makes people pay for fouling him as he hits 78.8% of his free-throws.

The Nets offense needs three options on the offense and until now, Krstic was #4.  Nenad now is #3 and he’s playing well.
