The Nets have been disappointing this season
Most of the reason the Nets are a disappointing 21-23 this season is because of injuries to Nenad Krstic and Richard Jefferson. The Nets came into the season with a very young bench and those guys have been asked to step up and the results have not been good. Vince Carter (25.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists) and Jason Kidd (14.8 points, 8.4 rebounds and 9.0 assists) have stepped up their games but they need help if the Nets are going to win the Atlantic Divison or even make the playoffs in the weak Eastern Conference. Mikki Moore has played well this season as he’s now in the starting lineup. Moore is averaging 7.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Bostjan Nachbar (7.1 points) and rookie Marcus Williams (6.7 points) will need to step up to help fill the scoring void left by the injury to Richard Jefferson.
