The Nets shot 50% from the floor and that was a big reason for their victory last night.  Jason Kidd had a great game running the offense with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists.  Richard Jefferson also had a good game with 21 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists.  Vince Carter had a rough shooting night (7 of 23), but he still wound up with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists.

The Bobcats jumped out to a 53-34 halftime lead in this game and then coasted to victory.  They also played great defense all night long as they held the Bobcats to 38.7% shooting from the floor.  Vince Carter led the way for the Nets with 26 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.  Jason Kidd also had a solid game with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Nets blasted the Pacers 88-63 in the first three quarters and then cruised in the 4th quarter.  Vince Carter had an awesome game with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.  Jason Kidd narrowly missed another triple-double with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists.  Mikki Moore also had a good game with 19 points and 7 rebounds.

The Nets need Marcus Williams to play better, so they can give Jason Kidd more of a rest as he’s getting older.  Williams has played in 33 games and has averaged 16.7 minutes, 6.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game this season.  Williams’ shooting and shot selection in general have not been good.  Williams is only hitting 39.9% of his shots from the floor and he’s only hit 17 of 64 (25.4%) of his three point attempts this season.  He needs to realize that the point guard is the quarterback of the offense in the NBA.

The Nets got blasted 37-21 in the 4th quarter and they let the Wolves hit 56.9% of their shots from the floor in this game.  Vince Carter had a decent game with 24 points and 4 rebounds.  Jason Kidd had a great game with 24 points, 6 rebounds, 13 assists and 6 steals.
