The Nets have signed free agent forward Malik Allen who will come off of the bench for them this season.  He played in 60 games (1 start) for the Bulls last season and he averaged 10.6 minutes, 4.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game.  He only shot 41.5% from the floor which is not good for a player who is 6′10″, 255 pounds.  But he did make 82.4% of his free throws.

Allen has now played in 287 games (103 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 17.3 minutes, 6.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game.  He has made 43.7% of his shots from the floor and 78.4% of his free throws over his NBA career.  Signing Allen was a good move for the Nets as he is a solid player to have off of the bench.
