The Nets are loaded in the starting lineup for the 2007-08 season. Point guard Jason Kidd will lead an outstanding starting lineup as he’s great at moving the basketball around. He also is an outstanding rebounder for a player his size. Kidd played in 80 games (all starts) last season for the Nets and he averaged 36.7 minutes, 13.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 9.2 assists and 1.6 steals per game. The Nets have re-signed Vince Carter and that was a good move for them as he’s the best offensive player on the team. He played in 82 games (all starts) last season for the Nets and he averaged 38.1 minutes, 25.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.0 steal per game. Richard Jefferson is the third wheel of the triplets on the Nets. He needs to stay healthy because he’s a good basketball player and the Nets need him. Jefferson played in 55 games (53 starts) last season for the Nets and he averaged 35.6 minutes, 16.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. Starting center Nenad Krstic is back after missing a big chunk of last season with a knee injury. Krstic played in 26 games (all starts) last season for the Nets and he averaged 32.6 minutes, 16.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Jamaal Magloire was signed to replace Mikki Moore as the starting power forward and this will be an upgrade. Magloire is an outstanding rebounder and defender as he is a former All-Star from the center position. He played in 81 games (23 starts) for the Trailblazers last season and he averaged 21.0 minutes, 6.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game.
