One of the main reasons the Nets have been so bad is that their star point guard Devin Harris has only played in 2 games due to a groin injury. Last season Harris averaged 21.3 points, 6.9 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.6 steals. The good news for the Nets is that Harris began practicing again this week and is expected to back in action by next week. The bad news is that although Harris is an all-star guard, the Nets are not a good team and Harris needs more than Brook Lopez and Chris Douglas Roberts to make them a good team.
