The Nets were essentially playing against the Heat’s backup players last night and they still couldn’t beat them. That is because the Nets only shot 36.3% from the floor and it did them in. Yi Jianlian led the way for the Nets last night with 23 points, 15 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Courtney Lee also had a solid game with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists last night. Brook Lopez was only 3 of 12 shooting from the floor last night but he still finished up with 12 points and 7 rebounds. The Nets finish the season with a putrid 12-70 record.

Terrence Williams got another start and he had a great game finishing with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Courtney Lee only shot 7 for 20 from the floor but he still finished up with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. Brook Lopez has been outstanding for the New Jersey Nets this season

You can’t blame starting center Brook Lopez for the Nets’ awful record this season. He has played in 77 games (all starts) for the Nets this season and he is averaging 36.8 minutes, 19.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.8 blocked shots per game. Lopez is putting up those numbers without a shred of help which makes his stats even more amazing. Watch out for the Nets if they start putting talent around Lopez!
