The New Jersey Nets give the rookies from 2010-11 more P.T. next year
23-year old small forward Damion James and 23-year old guard Ben Uzoh could be in line for bigger roles in 2011-12. James had a foot injury that really limited him last year. James played in 25 games (9 starts) for the Nets last year and he averaged 16.1 minutes, 4.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game. The Nets were very disappointed in Travis Outlaw at small forward last year, so James will have a good shot to beat him out in 2011-12. Ben Uzoh played in 42 games (0 starts) for the Nets last year and he averaged 10.4 minutes, 3.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Uzoh might get to stick around the whole year with the Nets in 2011-12 instead of splitting time in the D-League.
